The free track in April 2009 again features a friends work. (In January we hosted a track from Torsten Proefrock aka T++, which still can be found at the archive )

This month is a premiere, since the track is not just music but actually an audiovisual work; a video with sound. Tarik Barri is a composer and visual artist, currently working in Utrecht in the Netherlands, and his work is about generating visuals and music in one single structure and with dependencies between the visual aspects and the sound, a subject matter I am highly interested in.

Since the beginning of the year, Tarik and I are touring together for the Monolake Live Sourround concerts. Tarik is generating the video part, which itself is also controlled by the music.
The work presented here is called 'Versum - Fluor' and has been realised in 2008.

Since there was some confusion: the video and the music on this video is by Tarik Barri. It just also happens that he is doing visual works for Monolake Live surround.
